About the role

As part of Kappazeta team of passionate space enthusiasts, you'll contribute to Estonia's first-ever commercial satellite mission — a groundbreaking venture in the nation's space industry.

You will be one of the key people in driving sales results to government agencies across Europe by enhancing and executing the sales strategy. The main job is to identify sales opportunities, potential leads and partners, managing customer relations and managing procurement processes in the forestry or carbon reporting domains. You will work closely with the technical team to make sure customer needs are met.

Ideal candidate:

  • A strong passion for customer success and building lasting partnerships, supported by a solid background in account management.

  • Fluent in international environment, in both – verbal and written communication.

  • Experience in the greentech, sustainability or forestry domains (e.g. LULUCF reporting, EUDR compliance).

  • Track record of growing a sales portfolio and successfully closing government sales.

  • A self-motivated, independent, and proactive work style, ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable working remotely (offices in Tartu and Kuressaare).

  • Great problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.

  • Experience with geospatial solutions.

  • Established relationships with government agencies and/or ministries across Europe.

  • Experience in tracking prospective ITTs with European Commission and national agencies across Europe.

  • Experience is great, but what they really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • In close collaboration with our sales team and CEO manage key client accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and identifying new opportunities within the European market.

  • Serve as the Lead Relationship Manager for your accounts and countries, acting as the primary point of contact.

  • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate the market, while building, expanding, and nurturing key business relationships across accounts and regions. Utilize your existing network to identify and secure new business opportunities.

  • Support and lead the development of proposals for government clients, overseeing public procurement proposals.

  • Work closely with the Product Team to ensure continuous improvements in service delivery.
